She did her undergraduate work at Wheaton College and graduated magna cum laude.  Following her doctorate of medicine at Wake Forest University / Bowman Gray School of Medicine, she completed her residency at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.  She is fellowship-trained in glaucoma (University of Wisconsin-Madison) and public health ophthalmology (Johns Hopkins University, M.P.H.).  She has published articles on cataract and glaucoma outcomes and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Oliver has worked internationally at Tenwek Hospital in Kenya; Aravind Eye Hospital in India; the Lighthouse for Christ in Kenya; and the Sonrise School in Rwanda.

Dr. Oliver's interests include traveling, cooking, and Caps hockey.  She is married to Ryan and is the mother of four wonderful girls.  She lives in Falls Church City. Her commitment is to deliver ophthalmic care with passion and excellence.
