Call one of our offices to speak with our staff regarding your problem.

Then, schedule a telehealth visit.

Let us know if you have an Apple or Android device.

Please make sure your smartphone has a working camera and a microphone.

You will receive an email invitation for your visit with instructions on how to log in for your visit.

Talk to the doctor!

Northern Virginia Ophthalmology Associates is proud to be one of the first ophthalmology practices in the area to adopt CDC guidelines for social distancing and limiting large patient volumes to slow the spread of the 2019 Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).

However, we know it is important to continue to address your acute issues.  We now have the capability to address problems such as red eye, conjunctivitis, broken blood vessels, allergies, dry eye flare-ups, and many more via video calls.

The physician will take a history, perform a virtual exam, offer a diagnosis, and create a treatment plan.  If your physician determines that an in-person exam is essential, then you will be scheduled for an evaluation.  The goal of this approach is to provide essential care to patients, while reducing the need for urgent care or ER visits for eye-related conditions.

Most insurance companies are waiving copays and deductibles for telemedicine calls.  We will submit the visit to your insurance like any other visit.

If you are interested in scheduling a telehealth visit, please call one of our offices.
